About Jared Ratzel

I earned a Studio Art degree from Hobart and William Smith Colleges, followed by a Master’s in Film and Animation from the Rochester Institute of Technology. At RIT, I developed skills in character animation, character design, concept design, storyboarding, and motion graphics while creating several original short films.

At the REMADE Institute, I’ve animated material flow charts and a circular economy graphic, developed motion graphics for an eight-video initiative series and contributed to social media campaigns to boost membership and event registrations. I also created a high-energy hype video that opened the annual Circular Economy Tech Conference in Washington, D.C. for three consecutive years, designed to capture REMADE’s mission through dynamic visuals, smooth transitions, and kinetic text animation.

Additionally, for REMADE’s website, I designed and built an interactive map highlighting member and project locations. I also supported print-ready materials such as agendas, one-pagers and booklets.

I specialize in the Adobe Creative Suite, specifically in After Effects, Illustrator and Photoshop, and continually look for opportunities to increase my skill set. I bring a strong passion for animation and design, excellent time management, and a drive to elevate meaningful content across social media.

I am bilingual in German and English
